Here at the Lakeside School, we are very fortunate to have access to so many books and the experiences that come with them.

The third through sixth-grade students were in for a real treat with their visit today from Jay Cooper, the best-selling illustrator and author of over 30 children’s books.

School administrators, local leaders, business owners, first responders and other volunteers visited Lakeside classrooms on Nov. 14 for the school’s annual Community Read Aloud, sharing a pre-selected

The Lakeside School community came together on Nov. 7 for its annual Veterans Day ceremony, a special event organized to honor and thank those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. 

Over the last month, Lakeside's Student Council collected gently used coats and snow boots to distribute all over Long Island to children and adults in need.
