The third through sixth-grade students were in for a real treat with their visit today from Jay Cooper, the best-selling illustrator and author of over 30 children’s books. He is well known as a graphic novelist for The Last Comics on Earth series, however the presentation focused on his own origin story, inspiring young readers and writers, along with anyone who wants to be “super” at anything!! Jay interacted with students, explaining the process of creation, drawing creatures and having a day filled with fun, creative art and so much positive energy. Students can’t wait to read more of Jay’s books!
